People always ask me what I have for breakfast - this is it! Overnight oats with chia seeds soaked in water. In the morning I mix in protein - I use vanilla @phdnutritionuk - peanut butter and sometimes some pomegranate or berries. It’s totally yum and ensures I get the nutrients I need in the morning. After ‘fasting’ all night, your body needs allllll the macros to keep your muscles satisfied. This mix of carbs, fats and protein is ideal. Cereals and toast just don’t cut it I’m afraid!

✖️I’ve received a ton of questions regarding MOTIVATION lately, so I wanted to dive in depth on the topic. Firstly, motivation is something you will never want to solely rely on it. Instead, add meaning to what you do and you’ll never need external motivation again. Having a concrete set of reasons, whether they be a list benefits or consequences to avoid, will be all the flames you’ll need for your metaphorical motivation to fire. This all come down to your “why”. A man with a big enough why can sustain almost any how. The reason is because most things worth doing are tough, they require discipline, perseverance and skill - all of which will require some deep internal motivation to achieve
Willpower and discipline will get you started, then motivation and inspiration will carry you through to the end. If your dreading going to the gym, just go. You’ll have a ton more motivation as soon as you step foot in the gym compared to when you’re at home contemplating whether or not to go. Action isn’t just the effect of motivation; it’s also the cause of it. If you want to accomplish something but don’t feel motivated or inspired, then you assure you’re just screwed. The thing about motivation is it’s not just a two part chain of Motivation -> Action, but instead an endless loop. Your actions bread motivation; which gives hope to further bouts of action. It’s a glorious cycle - but you only experience it with the first initial act of doing 🔥

Let’s talk about ego lifting for a sec. do you ever see those guys who try and lift crazy weight also super fast. This will yield shit results for anyone.
Instead, focus on a weight that you can maintain and control💪🏼 and focus on the time under tension! It’s all about the contraction of the muscle, not always about the weight lifted👍🏼
