Malaysia is a food haven. There are lots of good food one must try when in Malaysia. Here, my son in the photo who lives abroad, travels to my home country Malaysia often. Looking at his expression you can see he loves Malaysian food. Being a vegetarian he says Malaysia fulfils his love for vegetarian cuisine.

Kanda bachali koora (yam and malabar spinach curry), Kaaja, aloo koora (potato curry), poornam boorelu (jaggery filled rice flour coated balls), oorudu mirapakayalu (buttermilk chilies), minapa odiyalu (lentil fritters), mirchi Bajji (green chili fritters), dondakaya fry (ivy gourd fry), dondakaya aavakaya (ivy gourd pickle), pulihora (tamarind rice), Gongura pachadi (Red Sorrel pickle), mamidikaya pappu (mango dal), rice and appadam (papad). If somebody asked me about my favourite cuisine, Malaysian food would definitely be one of the top ones. It is one of the reasons I would like to go back and have again some locally prepared banana leaf meal. Incredibly cheap prices of food is probably another one:)
