I'd like to say a HUGE thank you. Thank you to everyone who purchased a gift for a loved one from me over Christmas (and the rest of the year). It makes me so happy to think people will open a gift I've made on Christmas day. It's a very surreal feeling when you've not sold anything before! There are times when I struggle to find the energy to run my little business alongside a job in hospitality and other life commitments, but the support I've received has powered me on through hours of designing, making, marketing, advertising and public events. When I started Fronissa just over a year ago, I sold one hanger to a friend which he gave to his mum for Christmas, which made me so happy. I'm glad I persevered through all the natural doubts and failed attempts, and would recommend anyone starting a new venture to keep going and enjoying what you're doing (even when it might seem like it's getting too much, it happens to us all when we really care about something). 💛
I loved everything about this cake. The bride’s mum made it and because it was a bit skew-whiff she asked the bridesmaids to distract from that fact by adding a few flowers. Then the groom complained there was no chocolate layer so supermum rustled up some brownies popped them on a paper plate and whacked them on top. Ta-da!
