As a mama in business I have grown to know that breaks don’t really exist anymore - challenges & struggles come all the time & usually at the most most annoying times. Gotta learn how to just roll with it - 😷 and all this season.

It seems our house always has music blaring with different tunes because the hubster + I are both huge music lovers with such different taste.... he is more into Bluegrass, R&B, 90’s, Gospel and Old School Country.
While I'm more into Latin, Jazz, Classical, Zydeco and, well, Old School Country, too... give me some George Jones any day.
However, one thing I am NOT good with is... lyrics. I like to make my own up majority of the time. No shame. It's a trait I generously passed down to our little girl as well.
My favorite musician to listen to while working out is none other than Lindsey Stirling.... I love the instrumental work and the fact there's typically no lyrics so I can just get lost in the movement and beat.
The hubster thinks I need to branch out a wee bit... and add some more tunes to the mix, so... figured I'd ask the "gram-tribe".
What song are you blasting to help you crush your workout nowadays?
I’ve been reading up on ways to reduce waste and attempted to bring an empty glass jar to my local @marianosmarket (owned by @krogerco) to fill with items instead of using a plastic bag. But I was told the stores system doesn’t allow for jars to be weighed and then subtracted from the weight of the purchased item. Super bummed.
😑 So instead this jar is housing some homemade #veganbolognese sauce. #sustainableliving#wasteless

I love that this is what my workday looks like today. I love that I'm in my pajamas, sipping my detox tea and getting work done. I love that I can make money IN MY PAJAMAS, snuggled in bed, hanging with my kiddos... OR I can get out of the house, meet up with clients, get coffee with my team, have a workday with my best friends. I love that I get paid and even rewarded JUST for legitimately helping people change their lives! I love that I can bring in a significant income while staying home with the kids. My job is whatever I want it to be, and that's pretty amazing ❤

As a nutritionist, you know I would always love to recommend eating a lot of veggies and fruits.
But hey if we nourish our body with it,
We get that healthy glow that we are looking for.
Veggies and fruits have lots of Vit A, C and E, zinc and selenium to keep your skin healthy annd moisturized.
Also, it has antioxidants that help fight free-radical damage and aging.
Who doesn't want young looking skin?
Drink a lot of fluids.
Eat a lot of healthy fats,
This makes your skin supple and soft.
Example of food you can eat are eggs, chia seeds, lean meets, avocados ( love it a lot) fish, turkey, chicken, beef, yogurt and cheese if you are not lactose intolerant.
Exercise and avoid wearing clothes that irritates the skin.
Use a hydrating masks, it helps!
I know we love to exfoliate our skin to keep it glowing but do not over-exfoliate!
And if you use make up most of the time, did you know that coconut oil works well to remove make up too?
Give it a go!
And enjoy that beautiful feeling inside out!

I’ve had a habit of GREAT ideas, motivation, inspiration, and a game plan but there was one thing I was missing and too “lazy” to do...WRITE IT DOWN! That is JUST as important as having the idea in the first place. Your mind races all day, floods with ideas, To-Do lists, special dates to remember, kids schedules, dinner ideas, bills to pay, work propositions, play dates, I mean I could go on. Well sometimes we don’t put ourselves as a priority and our great ideas, motivation, and inspiration gets put in a locker in the back of our minds and stays there until we feel “motivated” again. Am I right?? We’ve all heard the saying “If you don’t plan, you plan to fail.” That is oh so true and I’ve learned that first hand! Well, enough is enough and I’m tired of my own bullsh**. I’ve got my vision board in the making (man I really wish I owned a printer 😆), my goals written down, a game plan for the week for my 7-Day Clean Eating Challenge written down, and every day I write down an affirmation I choose to live by. When something important is on your mind write it down immediately. It starts as an idea floating in your head then once it’s written down on paper it becomes an actual PHYSICAL thing you can hold in your hands and that’s one step closer to reality! You’ve got this! I know there’s something you want to work towards...just take that next step and write it down!! Then once that’s down on paper...look at it daily and do something every single day that will get you closer to it! Your mind will focus on it if you look at it every day and you’ll start applying yourself to it (without even really knowing it). So do yourself a favor and grab a pen and paper right now and write.it.DOWN! .

I was listening to a Voxer from my friend Jess @cleanproductjunkie and her word for the year is “protect”. Protecting her family from toxins, obviously, but also protecting her time, protecting her mind, her body and her spirit from influences that are not the best. I love that! I love that she’s taking things to that level of protection.
While some may call it “selfish,” I truly believe it’s the opposite. It’s an act of bettering her life, bettering her mind, bettering her entire existence for the ultimate benefit of raising the frequency of everyone around her.
Are you on board to be more selfish this year? I am. For sure.
