Today is #selflovesunday.
Its so important to take time out sometimes just for you, to look after yourself.
Whether you're a busy mum, a business owner, a student, self-employed, an employee, it doesn't matter, we all need to take time out for ourselves.
Every Sunday I always aim to sleep in a little, then I like to spend some time planning out my week and writing my weekly goals. After that, I'll spend the rest of the day with the family. Sometimes we will have a picnic in the backyard, go for an adventure around our suburb to see what we can find, or today we will be spending the day watching movies and eating popcorn.
It doesn't matter what you, but taking time out is so important.
Whether you decide to have a nice healthy breakfast, do some exercise, meditate, drink more water, it doesn't matter, just make sure you do something today your future self will thank you for 🙏
Medewi is such a nice spot! It's the longest wave I surfed in my life. Sad it was a little bit choppy and windy but I had some nice waves anyway! ☺️ The pictures just show a small part of one of these long waves🏄🏼♂️
Do you ever have those days where you have a ton of things to do and somehow you end up under a blanket watching 📺? I’m currently trying to convince myself to get up and at least finish my chores but it’s so hard! 🙈
Don’t mind me, I’m just obsessed with any kind of colour 💗💜. Promise a new look is comin’ 👀
How’s your weekend so far?! I’m sick & currently have no voice but other than that, had a great day pampering clients! 🤗❤️
P.S. obsessed with this nude lipstick it’s @maybelline baddest beige & it’s SO good! Shoutout to my fav blogger @emilyanngemma 🤩
I know what it’s like to compare yourself to others. I know what it’s like to get caught up in the image that social media portrays as “beautiful”. I know what it’s like to analyze and pick apart flaws that you’ve become accustomed to hate. I just want to tell you I feel you. I care for you. I care for you enough without even knowing you. I want you to know that you are beautiful, that social media is only an image of perfection we all try to paint. Life is your canvas, stop worrying about the image another is painting, rather focus on creating your own masterpiece. You. Your soul. Your well-being, because one day it will all end. You’ll miss the youth of your skin and the youth of your body. Don’t waste your youth fighting these useless wars. Pick and choose battles wisely because time is waiting for no one. It will rob you if your not paying attention. Above all, learn to admire nature’s work. You are a masterpiece.
may you always be the one who notices the little things that make the light pour through, and may they always remind you: there is more to life and there is more to YOU. 💗
little things that i’m grateful for: when people let you in when you’re merging on the freeway — when you walk past a really pretty girl and she smiles at you ( #girlcode) — when a store only accepts cash and you don’t have any and the clerk says “don’t worry about it” — when your fries are fresh, salty, and piping hot — seeing those viral vids on FB where people do generous things for others — when utah delivers on the most majestic sunsets ever — when people come to you to confide in and seek advice — when you have a good night’s sleep and wake up feeling ready to take on the world — when someone special leaves you a love note. to name a few. ✨
what little thing reminds you that there’s more to life + more to you? ⬇️
