Meine ersten Schritte mit Selfies. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte ich gerade 3 Jahre im Gym trainiert. An Wettkämpfe war noch nicht zu denken, zumal der Gedanke daran überhaupt noch nicht geboren war.
Ich bin der klassische Spätzünder.😊
Hab den Sport sehr spät für mich entdeckt und versuche gerade dadurch etwas nachzuholen, was meiner Entwicklung ganz gut getan hat. Zumindest kann ich von Müdigkeit nichts spüren.
Ich bin ein Beispiel dafür, dass es nie zu spät ist etwas neu zu beginnen und mit Leidenschaft und der richtigen Einstellung tolle Erbenisse liefern kann.😊👍

Today I opened up Facebook to this memory, a year ago on this day I competed in my first individual CrossFit comp at @therainhilltrials. A very nervous Maddie faced a massive challenge. It was terrifying put yourself out there in that big arena! The day exceeded all my expectations and I’m so happy I fought past the fear and the reasons I shouldn’t do it. You will always find a tonne of reasons to not do something but sometimes you just need to jump. There is much to gain from that leap of faith. I always think that I would never in my life want to look back at something and wonder what if. Therefore, if it scares you but makes you fire up at the same time, just do it. What’s the worse thing that could happen? If anything you learn from it and even that is a win. That goes for anything, not just competitions!
It’s also crazy to think that a year ago I struggled with a lot of the weights at the comp, for instance 20kg thrusters in one of the workouts. The other day in a workout I did four rounds of 15 thrusters at about 30kg unbroken. You don’t even realise how you are gradually getting better, it’s small incremental changes which most of the time go by unnoticed. That’s why it’s fun that we filmed the workouts I did at Rainhill and to look back on them now makes me proud of all the hard work I’ve put in since and am motivated to do more. I have been lacking in motivation recently so this did come at a good time😅
It also made me realise how much I miss my @gymg5_glasgow family and my TP in crime @fayefaye_c 💕
DAY 1 ARM DAY 💪🏽💪🏽 Alright! So firstly I hit the gym Friday I’ve just been busy and kept pushing back posting so whoops 😬 ANYWAYS 😅 I’m really bad at being consistent with working out so hoping that posting here will encourage me to workout more often and also I want abs and smaller thighs so 💁🏽♀️ Second pic is the workout I did. I don’t get to exercise at a fully equipped gym often so I kinda played around a lot and ended up using a majority of the machines before moving on to focusing solely on my arms in round 2 using dumbbells. Round 3 I used a cable to perform exercises that mainly targeted my abs, but still worked my arms.
Side note: The stuff written in light blue in round 1 is so I can track my progress. The stuff written in that color in round 2 & 3 is the primary muscles and secondary muscles targeted

- Preperation is key in all aspects of life (work, school, family life, new goals, etc.) 🗝 - You cannot expect change by doing the same thing - preperation is like telling yourself I AM READY, I AM CONFIDENT, I CAN DO THIS- you can influence yourself i.e. you will start to believe you CAN more than ever - Don't let past actions be responsible for how you live your present - one "bad" decision doesn't default a week of "bad" decisions .

Self development is ongoing
I’m amazed at how much we can learn about ourselves just by changing the way that we think feel and communicate
Too many people resist change, it scares them.
I like to think of it as learning new ways of thinking, to adapt and enhance our life.
This is definitely something that should be taught at schools.
We can all learn and adapt our behaviours🖤
ARE THEY 🤔?
Now I recently asked the question whether you guys feel guilty after eating certain foods, whether you wish you didn’t eat it as it’s maybe sent you way off plan and your goals 🤷🏻♂️...
This doesn’t have to happen.
You shouldn’t feel guilty for eating food, EVER.
Foods are NOT categorised into GOOD and BAD foods, food is just food. Each have a individual macronutrient and calorie value which is the most important factor!🥇
Your body did NOT know the food you just consumed had a McDonald’s label on it ❌
My advice would be to seek advice on improving your knowledge and relationship with food 🍏
Understand HOW energy balance, calories and macronutrients work 👌🏼
I’ll be posting more in the next few weeks about HOW you can balance your lifestyle, enjoy foods without guilt and still make progress...🔥
I was hit by a car suffering a double open fracture 14 years ago that left me with problems in my right ankle every since. Some days it’s good others it’s bad. You need to keep a winning mindset. You can be sad at times of adversity, you can weep and cry but don’t let the negative situations cause permanent negative emotions. You must stay positive you have no choice but to. Do everything you possibly can to fight back and succeed, your path may have changed direction, don’t let your mindset.
Have purpose, fail and succeed, keep fighting. Make yourself and others proud. Be inspired and inspire others.
