If you watched my ig stories yesterday you would have heard me talk about this!
If you want to move forward in life lose the shitty attitude, the excuses you fill your mind with, the what if scenarios and treat every obstacle that comes your way as a little self test to see if you really want what you say you want. When you truly have an awesome attitude and determination to get somewhere nothing will stop you. 🔥
Maybe you aren’t in the season of life you are hoping for, or you are going through big trials, or you’re still working on meeting goals you haven’t attained in life yet ... that’s okay! There’s usually something we wish for, even in the good times of life.
But, your attitude can surely make a difference. If you find all the blessings that your NOW life has, it can make NOW a good time of life and get us to stop looking ahead so much.
Adding a new baby brings lots of good feelings and love for my family and all we have ... and yet, the lack of sleep, new routines, nursing woes, and latest - everyone getting the stomach flu ... I’ve definitely been working on my attitude and finding the GOOD. But, this week two church friends randomly called/texted to check in and volunteered to bring dinner one night and meds and Gatorade another. What a blessing, I’ve got good friends that were prompted to call - God is watching out for me. See, I still found some good, and there’s lots more I was able to find too once I started looking.
What are your thoughts on this? Would love to hear 😀❤️😘
Take a moment today to linger over the blessings of your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“The English word “thank” shares the same root as “think.” Thankfulness is intimately connected to thoughtfulness. We can’t be grateful without being mindful of the many benefits we enjoy in life and conscious of the rich blessings we have been given. Grateful people take time to rejoice, which literally means to experience repeated joy through the remembrance of the grace and goodness one has received.” John Maxwell

Są takie dni, że niemożliwym jest żyć po nich.
A jednak przychodzi nowy ranek, nowy dzień.
#dontgiveup#bestrong#behappy#everythingwillbefine#everythingwillbeok#goodattitude#newday#newmorning
Happy New Year! I love when we start a new year off. It’s a time to start fresh with new goals, new habits, and new plans. I’ve been going through a bit of a transition period these last couple of months. This new year will bring about many changes, but I’m excited AF to get going on it! 😄 I plan to start working on a vision board today just to keep me on track. Have you ever done a vision board? It’s a great way to lay out the year ahead with things you want to accomplish, with dreams and goals you plan to work towards.
If you don’t have one or never have made one, I challenge you to do so. You’ll see how excited you get as you peruse magazines looking for pictures of things that match your ideas and goals. Cut them out and arrange them in a collage on a builtin board. Then work your butt off throughout the year to reach each of those goals, plans and dreams. If you get sidetracked through the year, go back to your board and remember WHY you put that particular thing on there. Knowing and being passionate about your WHY, will help you push through those times of struggle.
Hope you all had a lot of fun last night ringing in the New Year. Let’s get started on those goals and make 2019 the best year yet.😃
Remember how the other day I was telling you guys how I gained some weight this last month?
Well, I pulled my high waste pants down to above hip level to show y’all what’s up!
I know some of you are probably sitting there thinking, “she still looks good, what is she talking about?” BUT that’s just the thing!
... the thing is, I don’t feel MY best and that’s what matters most.
Why don’t I feel my best? Because I know deep down that I spent this last month in a ‘down’ season and wasn’t taking care of myself like I usually do. But hey, such is life!
Can you relate to experiencing a season of life like this? Truthfully, I think we all have (whether that be currently, recently or in the past) gone through a time of our lives where we just kind of let things slip- maybe physically, mentally, spiritually or all three together... I have learned that this is just a part of life. We all make mistakes. We all fall down. How could we expect ourselves to be 💯 all the time? How would we learn and grow if we were?
These seasons don’t define us but they CAN shape us. Shape us to be more aware, more wise, experienced, and shape us to be stronger individuals... if we let it! ♥️ So, don’t beat yourself up (taking my own advice here). Get back up and prove to YOURSELF what you are made of.
