This semester our Senior Therapist Karen is studying Qi Gong as part of her Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture). Sometimes Qi Gong is referred to as Chinese Yoga and there are many similarities between the two. Qi Gong is a philosophy of life that fosters wisdom, well-being and harmonious living. The physical aspect of Qi Gong involves regular practice of one or more Qi Gong methods, a combination of movement, breathing, and meditation, which brings focus and awareness to the energy systems and internal processes of the mind/body. Stay tuned for more information throughout the semester! #bodyworkmassageandwellness#goolwa#victorharbor#portelliot#middleton

A long exposure sunrise from Goolwa jetty looking towards Hindmarsh Island
Public service announcement - everyone needs to try sky diving at least once!!! What an absolutely amazing experience 😝 As can be seen from the progression of photos, I went from nervous excitement, to a bit more nervous than excited, to pretty scared, to Absolutely sh!tting it, to 110% loving every second and not wanting it to end!!! ————————————————————— As someone who’s mind goes at a million miles an hour, often to my detriment, that 45 seconds of free fall was bliss, total silence - if that’s what meditation is supposed to achieve... is better do more sky diving 😅 ———————— A HUGE thank you to @milo2piles for surprising me with this experience. I am a very lucky girl xx Now... I’ll go back to day dreaming about the total bliss that is terminal velocity 🧘🏼♀️

So how was your commute today? According to @antstagram_sa, the centre lane at #Goolwa beach is pretty clear… Follow the sand highway right to the top of frame and you’ll find yourself at the mouth of Australia’s greatest waterway, the mighty Murray River – as it empties almost 2000 km of fresh water into the roaring Southern Ocean. A little further down you’ll also find the wild and windswept #CoorongNationalPark – a long, narrow ribbon of wetlands, saltpans, dunes and beaches stretching 150km from @officialfleurieupeninsula to the #LimestoneCoast . With miles of coastal wilderness, incredible fishing and surfing, rugged four-wheel-driving and a rich Aboriginal history – it’s a prime spot to ditch the diary and go off grid. Rest your head by the river at @birksharbour, or in the heart of town at @australasian1858 for a little boutique luxury and a world of local flavour! #SeeSouthAustralia 🚗 🏖 [📍Location: just a 2hr flight from Sydney to #Adelaide in #SouthAustralia – then a 1.5hr drive to Goolwa in #FleurieuPeninsula ] #SeeAustralia#Australia
