Missing these brown fools right now 😢❤️
So I’ve had a couple of people DM me recently asking for help around feelings of guilt, and as something that is really common in recovery I thought I’d share 🤗
From what I’ve learnt about guilt, it makes it extremely hard to break restrictive behaviors and bad habits. At the beginning I would constantly feel guilt for ‘irrational’ things, like for eating everything on my meal plan, guilt for not exercising, guilt for gaining weight, etc etc... just know that you’re not alone and that it’s completely normal. The guilty feelings stem from you doing the RIGHT things, and that your eating disorder is just trying to lure you back in. So it’s totally, 100% normal to feel guilt during recovery. The main thing is to keep choosing recovery despite those feelings because the guilt will eventually go away 🙌🏻💖
At first look this pasta dish looks like it’s got regular pasta, bacon, some sauce probably made out of cream, and if you look hard enough, onions in addition to the obvious green beans. 👀
HOWEVER, it is not. 😂 This dish is made out of shell pasta that’s made out of chickpeas, the sauce is made from cashews that soaked over-night and were put thru the food-processor with some other spices, then onion, yellow bell peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, and green beans were added. 😍
I’m not missing the protein thanks to the chickpeas, and I’m getting a lot of vegetables and healthy fat. 💪🏼
🌱 Eat 👏🏼 more 👏🏼 plants!!! 🌱
Sneak them into your meals, your body will thank you for the extra nutrition. 💋
We get it - life can get messy sometimes. But Renzo's is here to make surer little ones can be their most vibrant, colorful, healthy selves in the process. 😉🎨

💙 We get overwhelmed with gratitude and joy when we get to be a part of a positive experience in someone's life especially a woman who sees the value in treating their body naturally. The results aren't always the fastest or the most dramatic, yes we have a ton of those but that's not what we are after. People usually don't make permanent changes overnight, it is the small progressive, positive experiences that create long term habits. Let us be a part of that in your life. We promise you feel a difference on anything we have to offer ESPECIALLY our detoxing spa wraps... if you dont we refund every penny💙 The coolest thing about this policy is the vast majority of people don't take advantage of it. They feel results happening, they feel their body benefiting and they email us to let us know. What do we do? Offer a refund or a free gift. WE WANT you to reap the benefits of nature...that's how the world is changed 💙🌿 Thank you again for allowing us to serve you! -

Frozen raspberry lemonade, with my Ninja Bullet Blender. All it took was lemons (go figure!), frozen raspberries, ice cubes, water, and granulated cane sugar. Delicious and healthy. 🍋 #pink#whenlifegivesyoulemons#healthy
Delicious turkey chili!
Substituting ground turkey or chicken in recipes that call for ground beef is an easy switch!
Turkey and chicken are leaner sources of protein!
While red meat does have its nutritional benefits, it is best consumed in moderation!
Research has shown that red meat consumption is linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (that can lead to strokes and heart attacks) and colon cancer. ***
With easy switches like this you’ll find yourself having just as tasty of meals without all the red meat!

🦄Will my body start storing fats if I’m in a calorie deficit? Why this so called starvation mode doesn’t exist!!!!🦄 For years people have believed that if they are in a calorie deficit, (burning more energy than they consume), that the body won’t know when it will be fed properly again, so it starts storing fats, which prevents weight loss. This myth is known as ‘starvation mode’. 🤦🏻♀️ I will hold my hands up & freely admit that before I became qualified, I also believed this. Notice I said myth... it is simply not correct! So next time Susan tells you your body will store fats if you don’t eat enough, tell her she’s a f**king moron 😂😂 Energy balance (calories) is everything👑. When you’re in a calorie surplus (to much calories) & your bodies energy balance has been met, any additional energy will be stored as fats for a later date. However, when your in a calorie deficit, this means that your not consuming enough calories to meet your energy needs, so the body will look to breakdown muscle or fat to fulfil its energy requirements. When you diet correctly, it will break down your fat stores for energy not muscle. Hence fat loss occurs. It is not possible for your body to store fat in a deficit because it simply doesn’t have the spare energy/calories to do so!!! So that whole starvation mode thing doesn’t exist! If your in a true deficit it is not possible to gain fat!!!!
HOWEVER, what does exist, is your body going into an ‘energy conservation mode’. This happens after a prolonged calorie deficit. By prolonged I mean weeks not days.
In our bodies we have a hormone called Leptin. Everyone who follows me, will know this as I talk about it often. Leptin is our bodies natural mechanism to prevent overeating. Leptin is released from our fat cells. So the larger your body mass, the more Leptin you have. We want high Leptin, that’s actually a good thing. But we want it without the enlarged fat cells (overweight). When Leptin is secreted from our fat cells, it signals to our brain when we are full... When you feel full after eating, that’s your Leptin hormone at work. It also tells our brain when our energy requirements have been met & how much fat stores

Did you know you can replant green onions? 🌱
They can be placed in plain water or potted with soil 💧
They grow about 1 inch per day and save you money and waste from re-buying each time you head to the grocery store 🛒
Just be sure to place them somewhere they will get enough sunlight - they don’t need much! ☀️
Psalm 23 has been on my heart lately- the imagery speaks of wholesome restoration, loving guidance and soul rest. These foundational ideas keep me trusting and believing that despite my wandering and doubt- I am continually invited to seek and revel in the paths of my caring, attentive Keeper ➰🌳
The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd.
I always have more than enough.
He offers a resting place for me,
In His luxurious love.
His tracks take me to an oasis of peace,
The quiet brook of bliss.
That’s where He restores and revives my life.
He opens before me pathways
to God‘s pleasure and leads me
Along in His footsteps of righteousness
So that I can bring honor to His name.
Lord, even when your path takes me through
the valley of deepest darkness,
FEAR WILL NEVER CONQUER ME,
for you already have!
You remain close to me and lead me
Through it all the way.
Your authority is my strength and my peace.
The comfort of your LOVE TAKES AWAY my FEAR.
I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.
[Psalm 23:1-4, TPT] 🌿
