The limbic system is connected to parts of the brain that control heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress levels, and hormone balance. This relationship helps explain why smells often trigger emotions. The benefits are just ""under your nose."" .
At the beginning of the month I announced my intention to participate in @amanda_evanston#28februaryflowers challenge. I also admitted that I am TERRIBLE at keeping up with challenges. So here we are, at Day 23, and this is my 15th floral painting post. I hang my head in shame, and will slink away to celebrate my birthday with friend and family. I HOPE to be back tomorrow with another pretty flower painting. 🤞
“Become more aware of what’s really worth your energy”
This week was difficult to say the least with some troubling family news, but it helped us take into perspective what’s really worth our energy and time. It’s impossible to please everyone and taking a step back to evaluate who and what makes you happy, who deserves your energy and gives you positive energy can help push you towards success and a better life style. We’ve evaluated some goals we have for 2019 and made a plan of how to get there and we’re excited to share that with you! Stay tuned for some updates on stories in the next few weeks!
TLDR: surround yourself with positive people, we’ve got some goals for 2019 that we will be sharing soon!
A slow Saturday after a long busy week. Winter reminded us once more that she is still here sending low temperatures and strong wind.
Still, I feel like spring is almost here and I couldn’t resist buying these beautiful flowers for my birthday. Sometimes we all deserve some little “from me to me” gifts, am I right? 😉 Aren’t they just gorgeous? Hope you are all having a great weekend.💐
Happy Saturday! Wishing everyone a great weekend!
This stunning painting is by @marifer_artist . The blue and pink color combo is so beautiful, and I absolutely love all the scattered petals! Gorgeous!

#unmondodicosebelle#gaiadistyle#esercizidibellezza
Happy Saturday Folks!! Sipping on chai, enjoying this misty morning and smiling on this cloudy day || Somedays you have to create your own sunshine!! And remember if you’re going to find a silver lining it’s going to be on a cloudy day❣️ #saturdaymorning#cloudyday#chaitime#silverlining

My husband was surprised by this piece. I prefer calming neutral colors. But I was so inspired by a bouquet from @textureflorals that I had to give it a go for this installment of #28februaryflowers
Any black and red lovers around here? 🙋🏻♀️ Those are the colours you’ll see me wearing most of the time. The richness of the 2 little garnet teardrops on the band of this sterling silver ring is perfectly complemented by the intricate bezel and the faceted obsidian (from my fave cab dealers @newstoneagecabochons). Also, this design totally reminds me of GoT and I mean, wouldn’t this ring be just perfect for hitting white walkers in the face and annihilate them with this beautiful piece of dragon glass?
This piece has already been claimed, but visit my Etsy shop for other designs! Link in bio.

I thought this was a better in progress picture... I’m always hesitant to post progress pics because I let the outside world into my process. And the process is about my intentions...that’s what art is all about. I love Art History and learning years ago about “art”. This simple statement sums it up for me. “Yes, you could do that, but... you didn’t.”
