Scraping, scratching, rubbing, pasting and painting
The challenge has begun, the first collaborative large canvas is currently being prepared by @valerio__________ who is struggling with the task at hand. Exploring colour and texture, it is proving difficult to know when to end phase 1.
A handover to @ilextalla for a sculptural intervention on this canvas will be phase 2 of the project.
The artists will continue passing this canvas back and forth between their studios until they agree it is complete and ready for exhibition in May.
Wish them good luck, they're going to need it 😘
Meet The Maker - @louisehepworthwood
The sculptural quality of trees and plants is a motif Louise Hepworth-Wood returns to again and again in her practice.
To create tension in her work, Hepworth-Wood plays on the juxtaposition of vertical subjects against the horizontal linearity of the landscape.

Adding a pop of color 😍
I love shopping for new art supplies. Any art store has the most delicious kind of candy. While strolling and drooling through brush section, a brush sang to me that it would be perfect for adding details to my feathers. It was right.
Can anyone guess who our special guest is for next week’s podcast drop?

Today I’m enjoying a glass of Brandy, and making new jewelry tags for updated and new collections this year. I tend to like the kinds of tasks that most find tedious. I hope you’re enjoying whatever you’re doing today too!
