Bathroom vanity renovation. We’re using this old dresser as our bathroom vanity. Had to drill a hole in the top today 😮 and then cut out sections of both drawers so that the waste pipe from the hand basin can be hidden behind the drawers and you don’t see it all hanging down like a bull’s goollies. Richard did a great job of cutting out the sections and making new little dividers to support the drawers. I think I’ll line the bottom of the drawers with some nice vintage paper and use some decoupage glue to seal and waterproof it. I sprayed the sides and dividers with a polyurethane / varnish to help with waterproofing. Then the cabinet and drawer fronts got another coat of high gloss vivid white paint. It’s getting closer to being ready to install. .

After much deliberation I finally decided to paint the hall Plummet by Farrow and Ball. I got a colour match by the amazing @decoratingcentreonline (I’ve had a few different matches off them, and they are fabulous!) I am absolutely in love and cannot wait to finally get a carpet so I can walk around without shoes on! Oh the luxury to come 👣
