In the end of year clean out, mum has stumbled across another 4 recipe books!!
Each book is labeled, 'Sweets', 'dips', 'savoury' and 'more sweets'! Not every recipe is handwritten, there are quite a few cut out from magazines and newspapers, they aren't as neat either!
Some of them I remember my grandma making so I think Marna handed these down to her and she has added her own recipes too.
A lot of these recipes have come from Marna's friends, she has the name of the person written by each recipe, such an exciting find, but I think I'll just stick to Marna's original recipes for now!

This rib steak recipe is something your gonna wanna jot down... 🗒. Trust me.
Season your rib steaks with salt and pepper. Coat each one in potato starch on both sides. Sear in a little oil about 3 minutes per side. Line a large roasting pan with slices of Spanish onions. Place your ribs on top then layer again with onions. Pour some of your favorite red wine 🍷 on top. Cover tightly and bake 2 hours on 350. Soft like butter!
