Can’t believe the start of @tinpansouth Songwriting Seminar is TOMORROW :) I’m always looking to learn more about navigating the music industry as an artist and becoming the best songwriter I can be. I’ll be getting feedback on my song “Don’t Compare” from Adam Romaine at Tree Vibez Music so wish me luck 🤞
The Three of Air is the card today and it brings a message of education and lessons. We should never stop learning, growing, being curious and sharing our knowledge with others
I know I am always learning something. Sometimes it’s about myself, which at 49 years old is kind of cool I am still discovering aspects of myself
Sometimes I learn things about other people. This can help me create healthy boundaries and be more empathetic. I can understand their story better and what makes them tick
Sometimes I learn new skills or more efficient ways to do things in daily life
Lessons come to us through all kinds of situations. Be open to learning and to sharing your lessons, your gained wisdom and your perspective with others. By sharing our experiences and committing to continued learning and experiences, we raise everyone up around us, including ourselves

...GETTING ONE’S GEEK ON.. Some big challenges to practice, bladder myths busted and huge learning bombs this weekend on the “Happy Bladder” course with @jillybondphysio. As always it’s great to meet with flippin brilliant physio’s and get a chance to absorb and share knowledge. 🧠 🧠 🧠 🤯
My key takeaway from the recent @yoga_medicine Shoulder module in Thailand was the need for us to “own" our range of motion instead of relying on passive stretches. Practices that actively mobilise the shoulder joints (especially when we are forced to engage neglected muscles on the posterior shoulder to lift our arms against the downward pull of gravity) can be hugely beneficial to our posture and range of motion. This active version of Gomukhasana or Cow Face Pose arms was one of my favourites from the training.
If you go straight south from this point the next body of land is Antarctica. Although you will brush the western part of Africa if you go in a straight line, but if you curve it a bit there’s just a massive part of the Atlantic between here and the 7th continent. Amazing.
Geography is cool, right kids 😉 #stayinschool or #neverstoplearning
