the thoughts looped around his mind like the rubber band around his wrist as he snapped it, over and over again until the permanent line just turned a slight bit redder. he ran his hands through his hair, strands of it falling off of his scalp, tangling in his fingers. not having eaten in days, the slight bit of nutrition he had in him from instant noodles and red bull had drained; like blood in a bath tub, slowly disappearing.
he saw hooded men, nine of them. scolding him, clawing at his skin, whispering in his ears. one lead the others, and even though none of their faces were visible, he was the most intimidating one; always making tyler cower beneath him.
whenever tyler was in ‘the car’; he was the one driving it. the car was a metaphor he had created for himself; dealing with the cracks of his mind he got every once in a while had been easier to deal with since. instead of staring at the blank walls of his cold room he would be in a pathetic car, burning, crashing, almost falling apart.

Implicit demand for proof is so underrated, it’s one of my favourite songs literally ever. Its so simple but it holds so much. The piano melody at the start is so hauntingly intense and I adore how his voice can project so much power and emotion. 10/10
