⑩ Marlborough ≻ Westport v/ Abel Tasman 🏞️
Today was a big day and we covered alot of terrain. First port of call was NZ's sun centre Nelson and straight to the beach to throw some frisby and lap up the warm water beach.
Toasted, we headed into Abel Tasman but sadly we didn't have enough time today to hike the national park so we decided to go to Te Waikoropupu Springs and Golden Bay instead.
The Springs are the largest freshwater spring in NZ and contain some of the clearest water ever measured with visibility of 63m. To get clearer you have to go to the Antarctic. It was absolutely stunning❕
Post Springs we cooled off by a clear cool river under a bridge to eat lunch, gazed across the Golden Bay, and then set our course for Westport.
The drive was around 4 hours and the landscapes we saw whilst the sun set were truly world class. Hands down best road I've ever driven, a picture couldn't come close to doing the experience justice.
That's the beauty of the roadtrip, sometimes it the unplanned roadside stops and roads that you end up remembering the most 🤙

The shadow of the day will embrace the world in gray. The sun will set for you.
Actually, I was on a rooftop cafe and couldn't take my eyes off the beautiful city view. But my phone camera failed to capture the scene due to the lack of light. I thought of using the video function to record it and then screen shot 😘 this photo is the result.
It looks like millions of stars illuminating the whole city at night.
A spectacular day with great weather and fantastic snow here in Hakuba, Japan. A fun venue for our comp with lots of great riders from around the world and especially strong performances from the local Japanese. I’m stoked on a solid run and a tie for 10th place as the scores were all quite high. Video coming soon! Thanks for the support!! 🙏
Road trippinnnn. Who’s going to Yosemite with us this year?!

So nice of Groot to get into the picture with me. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you need to watch more Marvel movies. @ballynahinchcastle offers tons of trails to explore and each of them is just as serene as this one. More to come on my trip to Ireland, read up on my travels in my link in Instagram bio.
