all you have to do is conquer your mind. when you are working out, do you tell yourself “ugh i’m so tired, i cant do it again” or do you tell yourself, “I CAN DO THIS” ???? during my 6 week at-home workout program that i just finished, @shaunt kept reinforcing the importance of positive self-talk, and by the end of it, i found myself actually using it and benefiting from it so much. if you just believe that you can do it and tell yourself you can & will, you WILL transform your life! i challenge you today to tell yourself you can do something, and make it happen. even if it’s a small win :) for me, i WILL write 2 essays for school...😬😅😜

Make sure to start with your weaker side first for the single arm movements & match the work with your stronger side. This helps with minimizing or preventing possible muscular imbalances🙌

Have you ever been so proud of someone you could cry? After so many years of knowing @brandonhardbody I’ve gotten to watch him go from the 18 year old who had never left his hometown, to an inspiration to people everywhere. I’ve watched him work harder than anyone day in and out to be a role model and example for so many people who went through the same struggles as him. There’s nothing I love more than getting to watch him live out his dream. Walking into the @alphalete meet up yesterday and seeing his face on this banner was SO special. I couldn’t be more proud of you and your journey ♥️

Falling in love with who you are is the most liberating thing in the world.
In a world that says “focus on your flaws” there is nothing braver than to love even the darkest parts of yourself.
I refuse to not be proud of who I was, who I am, and who I will be.
I refuse to not be forgiving of my short comings, kind to myself on bad days, and understanding on the days I struggle.
Through my fitness journey, I have learned many things but the most important realization I have come to is that it’s okay to be a work in progress and it’s okay to take steps backwards. As long as I am patient, kind, and resilient I’m exactly where I need to be.
And what a beautiful thing it is to just exist and be at peace without the weight of the worlds expectations on your shoulders.
