Initially I was worried about bringing the guitar. I didnt want to make the moment about us because I knew there would be other people here. When we arrived there were about 20 other people talking, laughing, and taking photos, and it wasnt until the guitar came out that everyone collectively stopped speaking and stopped moving and genuinely became immersed in what was happening in front of them. 2 encores were played
To become mindfully aware of our surroundings is to bring our thinking back to the present moment reality and to the possibility of some semblance of serenity in the face of circumstances outside our ability to control 💫

it’s hard to say how much this afternoon meant to me. earlier that morning, i got news from home that shook me, and it’s as if the angels were rewarding me just for going on with my day. i stumbled upon a midday classic concert at lobkowicz palace in prague castle, the most beautiful and intimate show i’ve ever seen. after sneaking in at the last minute and sliding into a single seat in the front row, i sat quietly in awe. the performance of beethoven’s für elise brought me to tears - i’ve always had an unexplainable connection to this song, and there it was. there i was. how? i’ll never know, but it was beautiful. after the concert we got access to the only private balcony currently open in the entire castle. i had such butterflies i felt at risk of floating away. but my angels were grounding me ✨ *swipe*
